About the band -

Agam is an award-winning contemporary carnatic rock act from Bangalore. Agam derives its name from the ancient Tamil word which translates to 'The Inner Self'. Agam's music encapsulates the boundless, vibrant emotions of the human psyche. Their music combines the myriad hues of melodic scales and intricate rhythm structures offered by carnatic music with the aesthetic principles and tonal elegance from the western world.

They have performed over 300 live concerts across India and abroad, and different music festivals in the country like ‘The Great Indian October Fest, NH7 Weekender, The Storm Festival, The Mojo Rising Festival to name a few.

In November 2013, the band performed at Esplanade Theaters, Singapore as a part of Kalaa Utsavam which is an Indian Festival of Arts that presents an array of classical to contemporary arts performances during the festive season of Diwali.
