Emiway, an Indian rapper, songwriter, and record producer, started off releasing music in 2013 and turned out to become the biggest Independent musicians in India. He has over 3 billion + streams on his catalogue of almost 150+ songs, all independently. He is best known for his hit song ‘Asli Hip Hop’ in the film ‘Gully Boy’ in 2019. His stage name Emiway is a combination of the names ‘Eminem’ and ‘Lil-Wayne’. Emiway comes from a very humble background and has spent his initial years working very hard to achieve his dream. His initial raps were composed in English, but it was his father who advised him to rap in Hindi, to make him appeal to the masses in India. In 2014, he did his first Hindi rap or Bantai, which was an instant hit.
