About the SvarAmrita band :

SvarAmrita (http://www.svarAmrita.com) is a group of creative musicians from the IT background, specializes in blending various musical styles - Carnatic, Hindustani, folk and western producing creative music.

The group was formed with a few core musicians from the Infosys music band, "Xprescions" in 2008, which is one of its kinds at the corporate level for their experimental music. Their concerts have entertainment, energy, fun along with spreading the classical music. They have received several awards in Infosys for their contribution towards various events and theme music compositions and have also featured in the leading newspapers and TV channels of Karnataka.

This group has conducted several workshops in Indian and Western forms of music and also performed wide variety of music from its pure classical form to fusion creating a refreshing musical melody amidst their regular software lifestyle.
