DJ Jasmeet is one of those fortunate guys who has successfully matched his profession with his passion. A kid with the likes of Micheal Jackson, Madonna, Usha Uttap, Kishore Kumar, Ustad Nasrut Fathe Ali Khan as his favorite artists, he started his career in his early school day parties with his collection of cassettes and a record player. A product of the prestigious Bishop Cottons, Jasmeet was a regular feature in many music and stage performances.

After Cotton’s, Jasmeet went to Christ College. While here, Jasmeet performed at various events and parties to take himself through college. He then moved onto the professional circuit working with various clubs and parties. His commitment to the profession was established when he passed on offers from the Merchant Navy; inspite of water being another of his passions. A fully supportive family helped him enabled him to move away from the beaten path, and find life for himself. Jasmeet today is focused on creating similar avenues for other youngsters.

Jasmeet has won accolades in the field winning the DJ Mixing Championship – DMC 2000 South Zone and coming in runner up at the DJ South Zone Championship 2006. His Punjabi descent is probably reason for his mastering the art of remixes and beat matching.

A perfectionist by nature, Jasmeet spends hours working on his performances, and trying out new stuff that ensures his audience have the time of their lives. His commitment to the art is such that he sees himself DJing for years to come and his practice of playing varied music sees him learning all the more.
