April 30, 2014, Bangalore: It is summer time and school holidays can mean long days with bored kids who are looking for an outlet to expend all their energy. Before parents tear their hair out in frustration, head to Inorbit Mall Whitefield; where a little shopping and loads of entertainment will keep the whole family happy, peaceful and cool.

The concept of the summer festival at Inorbit is based on a series of activities, where each activity is in its own zone or island. The activities are a mix of games and edutainment, which are sure to keep the kids happily occupied and entertained this summer.

The seven Islands of Fun are Art Corner; Pluck Mangoes; Fishing Zone; Mattel Games Zone; Jungle Magic Zone; Hot Wheels Zone and Barbie Zone.

Art Corner
Painting zone and competition with a new theme each day. Daily prizes up for grabs for artistically inclined youngsters to bring alive their imagination on canvas. All material will be supplied by the mall.

Pluck Mangoes
A childhood thrill that many city based kids miss out on is mango plucking. Inorbit gives them the opportunity to do this with a good aim and a set of soft balls – kids get to try and hit the mangoes on a set up tree and see how many they can net.

Fishing Zone
Kids or parents and kids can compete against each other to see who can haul in the maximum number of fish. No fish will be harmed during this game as they will all be magnetic, so that fisher folk visiting the mall can catch them easily with their iron tipped rods.

Mattel Games Zone
Families or friends can play a series of popular board games at this island.

Jungle Magic Zone
The liveliest of all the islands, the jungle zone is filled with a lot of characters, games, stories, shows and competitions. Lots of prizes are up for grabs here.

Hot Wheels Zone
All racing enthusiasts, this is the perfect place to play out future F1 dreams with radio controlled cars. Kids can race against each other and those who clock the fastest speeds will compete in the mega championship to win lots of gifts and car merchandise.

Barbie Zone
Every little and some big girls dream zone. Makeovers and a competition to build the best Barbie castle will surely have all the girls heading to the Barbie zone.
