Bangalore, January 30, 2015: Inorbit Mall Whitefield will be transforming into a one of a kind Farmers Market on the weekend of February 7th and 8th 2015.

Traditionally a farmers market is a physical retail market featuring foods sold directly by farmers to consumers. And that is exactly what one can expect at Inorbit Mall, where stalls will be selling fresh produce sourced direct from farms. Besides vegetables, fruits and herbs, visitors can also find organic pulses and grains; organic honey; milk products; eggs; vertical gardening & farming kits; organic health and food products; seeds and garden accessories; easy grass and fresh bakery products.

There will also be a variety of ready to eat food counters serving fresh organic food, cheesy breakfast items, snacks and an array of fresh bakes like muffins, breads and so on.

Besides food, one can also pick up organic lip balms and other organic and herbal cosmetics.

The farmers market isn’t only about buying what’s on offer, there’s much to learn as well. Workshops teaching visitors how to grow their own produce, using different methods like vertical farming, pot farming and balcony or terrace gardening can help enthusiasts get a head start on their own patch of green at home. Gardeners can take advice and tips from the experts as well.

There will be a lot of activities for adults and kids alike, including free workshops for kids to set them on a green path. All in all, a wholesome experience to look forward to.
