Events in Bangalore - AssistHELP announces India's first Kids Marathon, Young Sprinters 2015 at Inorbit Mall Whitefield on 2 October 2015, 8.am

* India's first ever Kids Only Run, including toddlers to adolescents, to be flagged off on 2 October, 2015 at Inorbit Mall Whitelfield
* More than 2000 participants, including students from top schools of Bangalore and orphanages, are expected to run for a healthy cause

As a tribute to the city’s spirited youth and the need to create awareness about paediatric cancer, Bangalore will host a first of its kind run titled AssistHELP’s Young Sprinters on October 2, 2015. The event is expected to see participation from children across age groups, including toddlers and adolescents, from well established schools in the city. 400 children from orphanages in the city are also being given an opportunity to participate in the event. The special focus of the event will be the toddlers category which will see toddlers running under the supervision of adults, paramedics and security staff. The event will be flagged off from Inorbit Mall Whitefield in four different groups with the shortest stretch being 700 metres and the longest covering 3 kilometres. The event is organized by an AssistHELP Foundation, an NGO, and presented by healthcare services company, Quintiles India.

AssistHELP Foundation an Initiative started by Dr.Manish Harsh, has been working actively towards the cause of community welfare by taking up projects dealing with poverty eradication, providing education and several other issues. The NIRBHAYA Run will raise funds and awareness for AssistHELP’s underprivileged female children educational development programme targeted to support around 5000 underprivileged female children.
