Bangalore, March 25, 2014: Landmark is thrilled to launch the book ‘Cricket Changed My Life’ at the Landmark store at Forum Mall, Bangalore on 28th March 2014 at 6.00pm.

Cricket fans will get a chance to interact with reputable sports journalist and the author Shamya Dasgupta. Veteran India Test cricketer Syed Kirmani and Dileep Premachandran, Editor, Wisden India will be present at the launch in support.

‘Cricket Changed My Life’ tells the stories of cricketers who have played for the Indian team and those who couldn’t, players who have achieved success only at the IPL or only in first-class cricket, men who walked the wrong path and foreigners that earn their living in rupees. These are the stories of some of the men that make up what Indian cricket really is—beyond the big headlines.

About the Author

Shamya Dasgupta has been a sports journalist for over a decade and is currently Senior Editor with Wisden India. He has been a member of the nomination panel for the 2013 and 2014 Laureus World Sports Awards and a member of the Worldwide Panel of Experts for the 2012 London Olympics with The Guardian. Bhiwani Junction, his book on Indian boxing, was published by HarperCollins India in 2012. Shamya lives in Bangalore with Ajitha, his wife, and Lio, their ‘dogson’.
