Bangalore, December 6th 2013: Landmark is thrilled to launch the book “Young Chefs” by Vikas Khanna at Landmark store, Forum Mall, Bangalore, on 10th December 2013 at 6.30pm.Kids and their parents will get a chance to interact with the famous chef during the launch.

The book “Young Chefs” is a first of its kind Cookbook in India. It is a classic book, with step-by-step recipes, combined with striking pictures, which makes them easy to follow and fun to cook.

In “Young Chefs”, Vikas Khanna, a Michelin-starred chef and one of the judges on Junior Masterchef India, lends a helping hand to kids to experiment with different kinds of recipes from India and around the globe. Divided into 5 different sections – breakfast bites, lunchbox, main meals, drinks, and sweet treats – the book includes recipes for kids to make at any time of the day.

“Young Chefs” encourages kids to be confident in the kitchen. It includes illustrated sections on cooking tools, techniques of cooking and baking, and kitchen do’s and don’ts

About the Author

Vikas Khanna is an award-winning Michelin Star chef, restaurateur and filmmaker. He studied at the prestigious Welcome group Graduate School of Hotel Administration, the Culinary Institute of America, Cornell University, New York University and the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu, Paris. Vikas is one of New York’s top-rated chefs and was awarded the Rising Stars Chef Award by Star Chefs in 2011. He started the famous documentary film series, Holy Kitchens, featured as a judge on the second season of Master Chef India and appears on television regularly. Vikas is the author of The Spice Story of India, Modern Indian Cooking and Flavors First.
