Santa’s Magic Horse Cart at 1 MG Road- a Starcentre

Bangalore, 21st December 2012: The week leading up to Christmas at 1 MG Road – a Starcentre saw various unique events take place. The highlight of course was on Friday, when Santa Claus and his mystical horse cart appeared at 1 MG Road-a Starcentre, to get everyone in the festive groove.

Beginning the afternoon on a gracious note, 1 MG Road – a Starcentre, donated all items that were dropped into a giant stocking over the week by mall visitors to Family Services, an NGO. Books, toys and other items were given to those less fortunate, in a bid to brighten up their Christmas. Actor Vinay Rai was present to support the cause and be a part of the celebration. Following this, a three piece band played Christmassy melodies and got the crowd tapping to a tune or two!

What caught everyone’s attention though, was a magical cart pulled by two magnificent white horses, with sweets and treats for everyone! Crowds gathered around this unique sight in the centre of a bustling area in Bangalore to cheer and receive gifts and a ride on this cart!
