Sarvasva and Aabha Hanjura to add rhythm to romance at Inorbit Mall, Whitefield

February 11, 2014, Bangalore: This Valentines weekend, Bangaloreans have their pick of musical genres between the energetic and eclectic with performances by Sarvasva and Sufistication lined up at Inorbit Mall, Whitefield.

Sarvasva will perform a selection of youthful, energetic numbers on Valentine’s Day February 14th and Aabha Hanjura along with Sufistication will do a rendition of soulful Sufi music on February 15th. The event is free for all and will take place outside the main entrance of the mall.

Additionally a host of fun games for all visitors will be held, with lots of Inorbit gift cards to be won.

The Rock and Sufi weekend filled with great music and entertainment is a part of Inorbit Live, an initiative by the mall to provide entertainment through musical performances, dance, stand up comedy acts, plays etc.

About Sarvasva
SARVASVA, literally meaning the “be all and end all of everything”, is a Kannada rock band led by the powerhouse performer and seasoned Sandalwood playback singer Sangeetha Rajeev. With a repertoire of songs in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, English and Rajasthani, Sangeetha is well known for the hit song “Thinnabeda Kammi” from the movie Lucia, besides 8ne Taragathi from Aane Pataki and Ali Baba from Rebel. She is ably backed by keyboardist Sagar Gururaj associated with one of the city’s leading metal bands, Verses. The band’s musical style is a blend of influences from classical, progressive, punk, alternative and indie styles of rock.

About Aabha Hanjura (Sufistication)

Serenity, peace and emotions are core elements of music which dwell in abundance in the soil and vibes of Kashmir. Aabha Hanjura is a Sufi singer hailing from Kashmir, who is now based in Bangalore. She is the founder and lead singer of her band “Sufistication”, which as the name suggests is modern version of old Sufi style music.
