March 12, 2014, Bangalore: Get ready to dance the weekend away as Sujit Mukherjee and his band ELV bring musical mayhem to Inorbit Mall Whitefield on March 15th and 16th.

Bollywood Fusion is the theme on March 15th as Sujit along with the 5 member ELV churn out popular numbers to get feet tapping.

Sujit returns on March 16th with a DJ for Rhythm Extravaganza – an evening with thumping music to end the weekend on a dance high.

So, head to Inorbit Mall to boogie this weekend.

Inorbit Mall is hosting a weekend filled with great music and entertainment as a part of Inorbit Live, an initiative by the mall to provide entertainment through musical performances, dance, stand up comedy acts, plays etc.

About ELV:
The band ELV was formed in 2007 in London by Sujit Mukherjee with four musician buddies Matteo Geassi, John Martin, Ella Flierl and Milli Moonstone. Sujit, an Indian born multi-percussionist, composer, educator has trained in Indian classical music tradition under internationally acclaimed Tabla maestro Pandit Anindo Chatterjee in India; as well as Grammy award winning Mexican drummer Antonio Sanchez in the USA. In addition, Sujit is also a scholarship recipient of the world renowned Berkley College of music in Boston, MA, USA.

Having performed at various prestigious venues around the world, Sujit’s love for his motherland brought him back to India and the band ELV has been re-launched in Bangalore.

ELV is a fusion band that brings a lot of passion into its collaborative work with many different genres of music starting from Western classical, Indian classical, Pop, Reggae, Funk, Soul, Blues, Latin, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Soca, Instrumental as well as Bollywood. Currently the band comprises of five members who bring the same passion in collaborative work with other music traditions around the world.
